PAG to roll out zero-lithium ENG batteries

Camera power and lighting specialist PAG will launch its new ZL Series of flight-friendly Zero-Lithium Travel Pack batteries at NAB2007.

Certain airlines have refused to let Li-Ion ENG batteries on-board aircraft in hand luggage, despite legitimate safety certification that proves compliance with IATA regulations for lithium content and United Nations testing. For this reason, PAG has introduced the ZL Series of Travel Pack batteries that contain no lithium.

The ZL Series is composed of 50 watt-hour and 150 watt-hour battery packs with support for V-Mount, PAGlok or NP1 mounts.

The ZL-150 is PAG's highest capacity battery, and is packaged in the slim PAG SuperPack format, rather than as a cumbersome brick.
