RF Central unveils dual-band ENG transmitter

The new RFX-ENG-II dual-band electronic newsgathering transmitter combines features from three RF Central products.
At NAB2008, RF Central introduced the RFX-ENG-II dual-band electronic newsgathering (ENG) transmitter for originating 2GHz or 7GHz COFDM digital transmissions from one unit.
Featuring 7W of output available for 2GHz use and 1W for 7GHz use, the ENG-II is available in SD and can be upgraded to full HD via optional software key. This package combines features from three RF Central products: the RMT-II dual-band transmitter, RMTC-II dual-band rack-mounted transmitter control unit and the 2GHz/7GHz MMPA-II mast-mounted antenna amplifier.
