Sachtler has introduced the Sachtler Combi Ped 1-40, a portable camera pedestal that offers a full complement of features in a lightweight, agile and easy-to-steer unit.

When paired with a Sachtler Video 25 Plus FB fluid head, it accepts a 77lb payload, which is sufficient to handle portable cameras equipped with teleprompters.

The Combi 1-40 pedestal has an air-filled column capable of providing a smooth, on-shot ped-up of 21in, from 31in-52in above the floor. The pedestal features a built-in pressure gauge and can be filled from a compressor or provided hand pump.

The Combi Ped 1-40 can be separated into its components, including column, steering ring and dolly, without tools for easy transport. Its shipping weight is 45lbs  without a case.
