Seminar to focus on emerging digital technology for ENG

The Advanced Television Systems Committee and the Society of Broadcast Engineers are organizing a half day seminar to address unfolding technologies used in digital electronic newsgathering to be held in conjunction with the 11th Annual Hollywood Post Alliance Technology Retreat in February.

The seminar, Feb. 21 in Palm Springs, CA, will feature experts involved in the development of digital ENG technology and related standards. Presentations will cover topics including the technical aspects of the Data Return Link (DRL) system, digital ENG implementation considerations, frequency coordination, spectrum issues and HDTV from the field.
