Fischer unveils HD camera fiber connector

Fischer 1053 HDTV connectors provide a fiber-optic solution for mobile truck providers, production centers and broadcast studios.

Fischer Connectors has introduced a fiber-optic HD broadcast camera connector.

The 1053 HDTV connectors feature quick and simple termination, the ability to be installed quickly on site and a low total installation cost.

Co-developed with Corning, the 1053 series combines the field-tested reliability of Fischer’s broadcast Triax connectors with the Corning UniCam fiber-optic contacts.

The Fischer 1053 connector eliminates the procedure of polishing fiber-optic elements and the need to use special epoxies. HDTV camera connectors can be field-assembled in as little as 30 minutes.
