AJA Video’s KONA 2 card and Io LA and LD saw heavy use in films presented during the Sundance Film Festival 2005.
At least two productions premiering at Sundance used AJA's products. The KONA 2 was used on the feature-length film, “Me and You and Everyone We Know” and was used to provide digital post services for the short, “Broadcast 23.”
HD Cinema, a production company that provides HD camera packages, formalized the technical details for “Me and You and Everyone,” providing the Sony CineAlta F900 HD cameras. In a joint venture with HD Cinema, Different By Design (DXD), a production and post-production company in Los Angeles consulted and provided post-production for both productions.
AJA's Io LA and Io LD were used for editing the Sundance Channel Festival Dailies airing on the Sundance Channel Jan. 24-29.
