Adobe to offer native support of Panasonic AVCHD format in CS4

Adobe Systems will offer native support for the Panasonic AVCCAM camcorder lineup.
The latest version of Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium CS4 will support all Panasonic AVCHD format products with no transcoding or rewrapping required.
The new Panasonics AG-HMC150 professional 3-CCD handheld camcorder relies on AVCHD compression. It provides professionals and enthusiasts alike with the flexibility of 1080/720 AVCHD recording at bit rates up to 24Mb/s and a simple, solid-state SD memory card workflow.
Panasonic’s AVCCAM camcorder lineup includes the AG-HMC150 handheld and AG-HMC70 shoulder-mount models.
