Ardis Technologies to unveil DynamicDrivePool at IBC2008

Sep 2, 2008 12:22 PM

At IBC2008, Ardis Technologies will unveil DynamicDrivePool, a capability for its RAID-based storage system to allow project and file-level sharing between Avid systems, including Nitris, at high bandwidths using standard Ethernet.

DynamicDrivePool provides users with simultaneous read and write access to the same drive/volume. The system also offers a file locking and delete protection mechanism.

Because it uses special iSCSI (SCSI over Ethernet) technology, the bandwidth of DynamicDrivePool is more then three times higher than an NAS-based system.

See Ardis Technologies at IBC2008 Stand 7.J01, or visit www.dynamicdrivepool.com.
