DISH Network has added HD local channels in Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX, the company announced July 19.

The addition of Beaumont-Port Arthur means DISH Network now offers local channels in 66 markets reaching more than 69 percent of U.S. TV households.

Earlier this year, the direct-to-home satellite provider announced plans to enhance its HD programming lineup to offer more than 100 national HD channels by Aug. 1.
