Envivio encoders are also deployed worldwide to enable efficient delivery of high-quality advanced mobile broadcast TV services.

At NAB (booth SU2424) Envivio announced that its 4Caster and M2 mobile encoders will support the proposed ATSC mobile DTV Candidate Standard for mobile television broadcast in the United States and that its products will be used at the NAB Show for several different live mobile video demonstrations. Demonstrations include those that will work with transmitter vendors Acrodyne Industries (booth C1336), Axcera (booth C8546D, C1319), Larcan (booth C2616) and Rohde & Schwarz (booth C1933).

Proponents of both the MPH and the A-VSB initiatives used the company’s encoders in technology demonstrations throughout the development of the ATSC mobile DTV proposal. Envivio encoders are also deployed worldwide to enable efficient delivery of high-quality advanced mobile broadcast TV services to a broad range of mobile devices including mobile phones, portable media players and ultra mobile PCs. Delivery standards supported include DVB-H, DVB-SH, ISDB-T and CMMB.

The solutions deliver AVC (H.264), AVS, and Windows Media Video (VC 1) compressed video quality at low bit rates for mobile TV, Internet TV, IPTV and broadcast applications. Service providers worldwide use Envivio products to reduce their operational costs while offering subscribers highest quality video services.
