Eyeheight’s NB-9 nanoBox is a new addition to the company’s modular range of broadcast-quality video, audio and data processing equipment. The nanoBox is a compact standalone chassis that accommodates Eyeheight’s range of legalizers, safe-area-generators and SDI-embedded audio shufflers.

The rugged frame is optimized for desktop use in control rooms, edit suites and graphic studios as well as on-location.

The nanoBox operates from a 7.5V DC supply and comes complete with an external power brick working from universal AC mains. The power unit includes plug fittings for all regions of the world. Maximum power consumption is 30W.

The nanoBox can be controlled via Eyeheight’s softPanel software, which operates in a Java 1.5 environment and can run on any standard PC. Connection between nanoBox and PC is via USB. The chassis can also be controlled from an Eyeheight FP-9 remote panel via an RJ45 connection socket. Up to three nanoBoxes may be housed in an optional 1RU rack-mounting tray.

The nanoBox measures 260mm x 135m x 35mm and weighs about 2lbs.
