Gefen has announced the prerelease of its 4x4 DVI DL Matrix, which enables a direct connection of four computers to four displays with support for dual-link DVI resolutions up to 3840 x 2400.

Well suited for editing bays and post-production environments where system networking is undesirable, Gefen’s 4x4 DVI DL Matrix offers an easy method of operation. No complex installation is required; the rack mountable matrix requires a simple connection of four computers and four displays to its ports.

A 24V external power supply drives instant delivery of dual-link DVI video to the selected display. Gefen’s 4x4 DVI DL Matrix also includes four DVI connection cables as well as rack ears for mounting.
