Gefen 4x4 DVI DL Matrix offers flexibility in edit bays, post production

Users of Gefen’s 4x4 DVI DL Matrix assign a computer to a display using the IR remote or the RS-232 connection.
Gefen has announced the prerelease of its 4x4 DVI DL Matrix, which enables a direct connection of four computers to four displays with support for dual-link DVI resolutions up to 3840 x 2400.
Well suited for editing bays and post-production environments where system networking is undesirable, Gefen’s 4x4 DVI DL Matrix offers an easy method of operation. No complex installation is required; the rack mountable matrix requires a simple connection of four computers and four displays to its ports.
Users assign a computer to a display using the IR remote or the RS-232 connection.
A 24V external power supply drives instant delivery of dual-link DVI video to the selected display. Gefen’s 4x4 DVI DL Matrix also includes four DVI connection cables as well as rack ears for mounting.
