At IBC2008, HaiVision will showcase its MAKO-HD H.264 codec for the hai1000 multistream system and the SHARE-HD network video recorder.

The MAKO-HD codec is intended for telepresence, interactive broadcast and medical applications. As part of the hai1000 multistream system, it supports up to 1080p resolution at up to 10Mb/s and provides 70 ms of latency. It also can support full-frame rate WGA computer input. The MAKO-equipped hai1000 can support up to 10 interactive streams of HD simultaneously.

HaiVision also will highlight its new SHARE-HD network video record server designed for rigorous recording environments. The resolution-independent SHARE-HD can record up to 10 synchronized HD channels or 20 synchronized SD channels.
