Post facility Hollywood Intermediate has purchased and installed an IMAGICA Technologies Imager HSR film recorder for use on independent film projects.

Hollywood Intermediate provides digital intermediate film mastering services worldwide. The facility has recorded nine projects on the Imager HSR film recorder to date, including "Rambo," "Waiting in Beijing" and "War, Inc."

The Imager HSR film recorder, built on imaging technology licensed from Eastman Kodak, delivers fasts speed and high quality for the final, typically time-crunched phase of DI: recording projects back to film. The system can record three frames per second in 2K resolution.
