Major League Baseball All-Star game captured with Thomson

The historic (and long, 15 innings) 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was broadcast live in HD on the FOX Network, on July 15 from Yankee Stadium, with the help of several mobile production companies. They included Game Creek Video, NEP Supershooters and New Century Productions.

This year, as in years past, virtually all of the mobile production companies on-site at Yankee Stadium used Thomson Grass Valley Kalypso HD production switchers to capture the game and its related activities in the 720p HD format. Some also used Thomson Grass Valley HD cameras, HD routers and HD signal conversion gear.
