Pakistan’s Wateen TV automates playout with Pebble Beach Systems

In addition to the Neptune automation system, Wateen TV has installed Omneon video servers and MediaGrid storage, Vizrt branding, never.no interactive solutions and a BTS traffic system.
Pebble Beach Systems is supplying one of its Neptune automation systems to Wateen TV in Pakistan as part of a turnkey solution for a new 15-channel playout center. The Neptune system will automate the processes dedicated to content ingest and transmission playout.
Wateen TV’s new 15-channel service is based in a new facility in Lahore. The project incorporates three TV studios, with each studio equipped with four cameras, 2M/E video switchers, a sound mixer and studio lighting equipment. In addition to the Neptune automation system, Wateen TV has installed Omneon video servers and MediaGrid storage, Vizrt branding, never.no interactive solutions and a BTS traffic system.
