PBS ‘NewsHour’ uses Inscriber graphics for political convention coverage
Sep 8, 2008 8:00 AM
The Inscriber G3 platform allows operators to prebuild graphics prior to inserting them into a live broadcast.
NEP Supershooters provided the PBS show “NewsHour” with its mobile trucks and several Inscriber G3 HD/SD on-air graphics systems from Harris to cover the recent Democratic and Republican National Conventions. “NewsHour” is produced at PBS stations WETA in Washington, D.C., and WNET in New York City.
A key benefit for “NewHour” was the ability of the operators to prebuild graphics prior to joining the mobile system on-site at the conventions.
