Petrol offers new travel bags for Sony PMW-EX3 camcorder

The bag’s hinged top unzips extra wide to a central compartment with enough room to hold a Sony PMW-EX3 fully equipped. There’s the Dr. Petrol camera carrier, Cocoon and Raincover.
Petrol, the equipment bag company, now offers three carrier bags for Sony’s PMW-EX3 camcorder.
Inspired by a traditional doctor’s bag, the Dr. Petrol camera carrier (#PDRB-4) carries the EX3 and similar size cameras comfortably and securely. The bag’s hinged top unzips extra wide to a central compartment with enough room to hold the EX3 fully equipped, without disturbing the mic, viewfinder or mattebox.
Petrol’s new Cocoon (#PCBP-3N) offers a way to transport an EX3 plus a laptop while traveling to hard to reach locations. The PCBP-3N’s ergonomic backpack system is optimally designed to provide correct weight distribution and greater carrying comfort.
The PRC-XL Raincover provides weather protection for the PMW-EX3 while shooting. Constructed of 100 percent nylon, it features an extra-large clear vinyl side window for maximum visibility of camera controls. The smart opening for sun guns is equipped with a thermoformed gasket to keep out dampness, while the cover’s rigid front hood section offers extra lens protection.
