Planar announces availability of Clarity Margay II display

Planar Systems has made available the Clarity Margay II, a 50in high-resolution rear-projection display.
The Margay II, which is intended for control room and digital signage applications, improves upon the features of the Clarity Margay. The Margay II offers advances in resolution, color performance and automatic image optimization.
Margay II supports 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and features including Texas Instrument’s DLP BrilliantColor technology for a brighter display and wider color gamut. The Margay II optical engine incorporates both primary and secondary color segments to achieve deeper, more saturated colors.
Margay II also features Planar Precision electronics with digital uniformity correction and solid-state image alignment.
