Quantel releases RED conform, import functionality

Quantel has released RED conform and import for the eQ, iQ, Sid and Pablo finishing and color-correction systems.
The new development simplifies post production of RED projects by eliminating the need to convert material before finishing or color correction can begin. The enhancement is available for all customers already running Version 4 software at no cost.
Quantel’s ultra-high-quality sizing technology can be used during import. Material originated as 4K .R3D RED projects can be finished at 4K, 2K, HD, SD or Stereo3D. Quantel’s high-level offline-to-online integration with Final Cut Pro delivers time savings during the finishing process.
