Studio Network Solutions (SNS) will showcase its shared storage system Evo as well as its Ellipse Enterprise 4Gb/s Fibre Channel HBA at IBC2008 in Amsterdam, Sept. 12-16.
Evo offers file sharing, volume sharing, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NAS and up to 24TB per system. Each unit now includes four seats of SANmp and four seats of Postmap, a metadata management application that lets users tag and locate files on the storage system. Evo’s integration of SAN and NAS enables everyone in a workgroup to edit, share and review projects, media and other large files using the most appropriate connection type for the assigned task.
The Ellipse Enterprise 4Gb/s Fibre Channel HBA enables Mac OS X workstations and servers to use high-availability features found in enterprise-class, multiple RAID-controller storage arrays from IBM, EMC, LSI and others. The company also will show the latest release of SANmp.
