The Chyron HyperX2 system enables Televisa to quickly create and broadcast real-time stats during the Olympics.

Spanish-language network Televisa has added two Chyron HD HyperX2 systems to its existing complement to provide graphics for its coverage of the Beijing Games. The company will broadcast the games to millions of viewers in South America and the United States.

The HyperX2 systems with Lyric PRO advanced creation and playout are enabling Televisa to create and broadcast high-quality HD scores, templates, chronometers and statistics in real time. All of the graphics and text produced by Televisa for the Olympic Games coverage will be created by the new Chyron graphics systems.

Chyron’s Mexican partner, Insitel, completed the installation.
