The new Virginia Panel iCon HD accepts up to 36 HD contacts in a single connector.

Virginia Panel has unveiled the iCon HD connector designed to make connecting HD equipment quick and easy.

Intended for HD transmission and venue applications, such as switching and routing, the iCon HD can accept up to 36 HD contacts in a single connector. In the time it previously took to connect a single HD BNC cable, the iCon connects up to 36.

The iCon has a smooth-action engagement mechanism with spring-loaded locking tabs and built-in lubrication that secures connections with a quick half-turn of the handle. The engagement mechanism and recessed, non-stubbing contacts ensure a quick and easy connect and disconnect.

The iCon HD’s 75Ohm HD coaxial contacts are gold-plated for signal integrity and reliability.
