With its advanced coding and Forward Error Correction (FEC) options, DVB-S2 modulation provides broadcasters with the ability to manage inclement weather, satellite service provider limitations and bandwidth consumption.
Wegener’s Unity 4600 includes built-in analog, digital A/V and ASI outputs. By using the company’s Compel network control system to control Unity 4600 satellite receivers, a network operator can control decryption of multiple programs at any remote site and pass only the programs authorized for that receiver as a digital ASI output. This advanced digital capability provides maximum flexibility in controlling program distribution of HD or SD video or radio services.
