Avid’s DekoCast v4.1 is now available in SD and HD configurations and delivers automated branding and localization with functions such as advanced CG, DVE effects on multiple graphic and video objects and real-time video squeezeback. It supports major image and media formats including AVI, DV, MXF, TMF and MPEG-2 as well as industry-standard master control automation systems and common newsroom system automation via XML, API authoring and GPI ports. The unit allows users to ingest video, audio or both using inputs to the DekoCast system as well as operate in HD or SD from the same system with a simple software switch.
