Barco introduces LCD HD reference monitor

At NAB2008, Barco unveiled the RHDM-2301 HD reference monitor for broadcast professionals.
The RHDM-2301 is a grade-1 LCD display that ensures high levels of color stability and accuracy for video reference tasks in production and post-production environments.
Barco’s RHDM-2301 presents high levels of color accuracy, image stability and motion handling. It features advanced LCD technologies, such as a 10-bit panel and real-time color-stabilized LED backlights.
Grade 1 is a standard formally defined by the EBU that sets requirements for contrast, black levels and brightness. In the process of real-time color judging, Barco’s RHDM-2301 provides continuous color stability and perfect representation of grayscales, deep darks and pastel tones.
