TV Globo network affiliate TV Anhanguera is undertaking a huge upgrade of its owned and operated as well as affiliated facilities to full HD production with Grass Valley technology.  This includes HD cameras and production switchers installed within a newly completed HD production studio, which will be used to produce daily newscasts.

TV Anhanguera operates 11 TV stations covering about 180 cities in central Brazil. The stations are members of the Globo Television Network, which provides its affiliates with national programming with time slots available for them to air local content.

The network’s main TV station is located in the city of Goiania, GO, where a new HD control room and production studio will feature five LDK 4000 HD cameras and two Kayak HD 3 M/E video production switchers. TV Anhanguera also is anticipating an investment to migrate its Palmas, Tocantins facility to HD, where a Kayak HD 2 M/E will be installed.
