Broadcast Networks launches AMU-8HD

Broadcast Networks has introduced the AMU-8HD audio monitoring unit for HD environments.

The AMU-8HD is an eight-channel bar graph meter with a Dolby D/E decoder option, two HD/SD SDI inputs, eight AES input pairs and eight stereo analog inputs. It also has four AES output pairs, four stereo analog main outputs (variable), four stereo fixed outputs and a stereo analog monitor output.

The AMU-8HD’s LCD menu system allows flexible signal routing to the main outputs, monitor outputs, meters and Dolby decoders. It also displays all Dolby metadata, I/O calibration and channel trim levels. All eight outputs are level-controlled and have independent volume control via the front panel. Inputs can be routed to any output, and all settings can be saved for instant recall later.
