DVEO launches VGA-to-DVB-T converter
Aug 21, 2008 8:00 AM
DVEO will feature its newly introduced VGA2 DVB-T VGA-to-DVB-T converter at IBC2008.
The VGA2 DVB-T is a real-time converter and MPEG-2 encoder that converts any VGA graphic and text from a computer to a frequency-agile digital DVB-T modulated signal then sends the signal to multiple HD monitors. VGA2 DVB-T can be used with existing analog or digital CCTV systems and inexpensive coaxial cable.
DVB-T, or Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial, is the European standard for broadcasting digital TV over the air. VGA is a common display standard for personal computers.
