DVEO to unveil NCoder HD with IP output
Feb 15, 2007 8:00 AM
DVEO has announced that it will unveil its new NCoder HD with IP output, a low latency HD MPEG-2 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 transport stream encoder, at NAB2007.
NCoder HD compresses HD-SDI video from HD cameras in near real time. It features IP output (RTP or UDP), DVB-ASI output or simultaneous DVB-ASI and IP output. The unit encodes 1080i, 1080p or 720p HD and features low latency — a normal mode of 120ms, and a low-delay mode of 60ms. The NCoder HD with IP output can be controlled from its front-panel interface or remotely.
The NCoder HD is Linux-based and is PAL and NTSC compatible.
