Game Creek provides more than 30 HD cameras for Super Bowl XLII production

Game Creek Video in Hudson, NH, used more than 30 Sony HD cameras for the production of Super Bowl XLII from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

The mobile production company supported the FOX Sports broadcast with a combination of Sony HDC-1500 multiformat and HDC-3300 3X slow-motion cameras. The cameras were used for pre-game, game and in-studio programming by Fox.

A total of 27 HDC-1500 cameras served as the primary field-production units, supported by four HDC-3300 systems. Two of the slow-motion systems were placed in each end zone, while the other two were used as free-roaming handheld units.

Game Creek supported the game with its FX HD mobile production system, which is composed of five integrated production, support and studio trailers. The company will also use Sony HD technology for the upcoming Daytona 500 NASCAR event.
