Leader CINELITE connects at Hannover HD workshop

Leader showcased its recently introduced CINELITE system at the annual Hands on HD television production workshop July 30-Aug. 5 at the Peppermint Pavilion in Hannover, Germany.

Organized by Band Pro Munich in cooperation with the Nordmedia Foundation, the workshop attracted 305 film and TV production creatives.

The real-time CINELITE connects via SDI or digitizing interface to a camera, allowing the test instrument to display the actual picture on a 1024 x 768 TFT LCD screen. Hairline cursors can then be used to select the brightest and darkest points in the scene.

CINELITE shows the optimal exposure setting either as an f-stop or as a percentage value with the press of a button, which allows the camera to be adjusted for best possible exposure. When incorporated into the Leader LV5800, four different points of interest on a live feed can be monitored simultaneously.
