Media 100 ships version 11.5

Media 100 has released Media 100 version 11.5, which adds Firewire I/O and support for Panasonic P2 and HDV to the nonlinear editor.

The version 11.5 release streamlines the Media 100 workflow by allowing users to leverage Panasonic P2 technology and integrate popular third-party applications, according to company president Boris Yamnitsky.

Highlights include:

• Support for FireWire I/O using Pure DV;
• Support for Panasonic P2 Format;
• Support for HDV leveraging the HD-Connect SI box from Convergent Design.
