Miranda to highlight automated promo creation, playout system

Miranda will highlight it upcoming show episode promo creation and playout system, based on its Xmedia Suite graphics authoring and management software and Vertigo XG advanced graphics processor, at the Broadcast Live/Video Forum.
Miranda Technologies will showcase several new HD products, including equipment for automated promo playout, incoming line processing and multi-image display monitoring, at the Broadcast Live/Video Forum Jan. 30-Feb.1 in London.
Miranda's highly automated, promo creation and playout system is based on the Xmedia Suite graphics authoring and management software and the Vertigo XG graphics processor.
The system uses template-based graphics populated by traffic data and live clip playout. This offers faster promo preparation and improved consistency compared to traditional, manual rendering of individual promos. The Xmedia Suite system is fully scalable for multichannel, HD/SD playout.
Miranda also will showcase new Densité Series HD/SD signal processing modules, including the XVP-1801 up/down/crossconverter with background keying and AFD, as well as the Kaleido-X multiroom display processor.
