Capital Networks released Audience 3.4 for professional digital signage applications this month. The new version provides creation, scheduling and display capabilities designed specifically for demanding professional applications using a standard VGA card.
Audience 3.4 delivers MPEG-2 software decoding, providing greater flexibility including playback of two simultaneous videos and 3-D transitions between videos. Capital Networks is targeting the retail, education, hospitality, military, medical, grocery, sports, gaming and corporate communications markets with the Audience.
The new version of Audience provides graphic and text overlay on MPEG-2 streams and 3-D transitions on video and graphics including fades, DVE zoom and full screen. It also features layered and/or overlapping zones and enables the integration of motion background into presentations.
