Radio-Television Slovenia turns to Harris for broadcast graphics

Apr 14, 2009 9:46 AM

Harris has provided a full-scale broadcast graphics solution to Radio-Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia), including support for a new centralized still and clip store for the graphics department that feeds graphics to all RTV Slovenia TV production and playout workstations.

Based on the Inscriber G1, G3 and G7 broadcast graphics systems, the new solution works in an integrated SD/HD environment. The G7 serves as the central ingest and production workstation. The G3 is used as a playback machine in RTV Slovenia’s HD studios, while the G1 fulfills the same role in an SD environment.

The G7 delivers 2-D and 3-D real-time graphics in SD or HD, scalable for playout simultaneously over two channels.
