Much RF equipment will be needed to complete DTV transition

An informal survey of 165 Association for Maximum Service Television (MSTV) members and engineers sheds light on the extent of transmission equipment that will be required between now and February 2009 to complete the DTV transition.

According to MSTV president David Donovan during a recent webcast, estimated demand for various RF system components is sizeable.

MSTV's estimated demand showed:
