Samsung Group headquarters to rely on QuStream HD routing

QuStream has received an order for video and audio routing equipment to be installed at a new HD production and presentation center at the Samsung Group headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.

The expanded router installation consists of two QuStream Cheetah 128NE frames, one Jaguar 64 x 64 stereo audio matrix and a Cougar 32 x 32 stereo audio matrix. One Cheetah 128NE frame will be configured as 64 x 64 HD with 32 SFP fiber in and 32 SFP fiber out. The other 128NE frame will be composed of an 80 x 80 HD with 80 SFP fiber in and 80 SFP fiber out. A full set of accessories and spares will be provided for all four matrices.

QuStream's Cheetah V5-DVI modules are used to terminate the HD and DVI video and stereo audio throughout the facility. Construction of the new system is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion in September 2008.
