Sony has introduced the BVM-L230, a 23in LCD reference monitor for broadcast and D-Cinema productions or evaluation and mastering applications, and the LMD-4250W, a new 42in LCD monitor designed for a variety of professional screening and editing applications.

The BVM-L230 supports 1920 x 1080 resolution, comes with a 10-bit LCD driver, a precision backlight system and support for a high-frame rate. The monitor includes Sony’s TRIMASTER technology to ensure picture performance for critical picture evaluation.

The one-piece LMD-4250W comes with Sony’s ChromaTru color management technology to compensate for variations in LCD color levels typically caused by differences in chromaticity coordinates, color temperature and gamma curves.

It offers 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and provides uniform pixel-to-pixel color reproduction for accuracy and consistent reproducibility.
