Time Warner has opened a 175-seat screening room featuring a 2K resolution digital cinema projector at its Columbus Circle building in New York City.

Complete with a 30ft screen, the auditorium will be used for screenings of cinema presentations, diverse digital, video and film content, live feeds and special events.

Following the lead of Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood, Time Warner selected the Christie CP2000 2K resolution digital cinema projector for the room. The CP2000 projector is part of the company’s line of digital cinema solutions. It was the first 2K resolution DLP cinema projector to be installed in a commercial venue in North America.

TechnoMedia Solutions is responsible for the overall audio and visual systems at Time Warner's corporate headquarters.
