The MBC Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has purchased a Ross Video Synergy 3 MD-X production switcher as the first step toward upgrading its facility to HD.
The switcher will interface and control a Sony router and VTRs. It is also equipped to control the Avid iNews and Airspeed systems for playout and ingest.
The Synergy MD/X and Vision series support a wide variety of SD and HD video formats.
Salam Media Cast Dubai will supply, install and integrate the Ross Synergy production switcher.
