At the NAB 2009 Show (booth# SU7913) Wegener will introduce a Web-based network control system for media networks called CompelConnect.com. Designed for  as a scalable solution for IP-based small and midsized video networks requiring localization on a site-by-site or regional basis, the new software-as-a-service — when used in tandem with the company’s iPump 525 IP media player — is ideal for corporate communications and subscription services.

CompelConnect.com provides management tools for content distribution, scheduling, playout control, and health and status monitoring of the company’s iPump 525 IP media players via the Web. Through a GUI, CompelConnect.com lets users schedule how and when content is distributed, and in what style content is played out of  the iPump media players.

CompelConnect.com clients have access to a full-featured remote network control system, with enhanced support for multiple users per network. Wegener technical support, file backup of data archives, and free automatic software updates are also available.
