360 Systems makes available new three-channel video server

360 Systems released its Image Server Select three-channel video server designed for Pro A/V users upgrading from tape-based systems.

Image Server Select features composite video I/O, +4-balanced audio XLR I/O, and provides over 100 hours of RAID-protected storage. It can also import and playback DV files over gigabit ethernet from nonlinear editing programs like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. Advanced playlisting software and head/tail trimming functionality is also included.

A key feature is a built-in video frame synchronizer that allows recording of "wild" analog video signals without using external synchronization equipment, which preserves the source material and generates substantial cost savings for customers.
