Multidyne releases multiplexer/demultiplexer for serial digital video



Mutidyne recently introduced the DTV-250 analog and digital audio multiplexer/ demultiplexer for serial digital video.

Mutidyne recently unveiled the DTV-250 analog and digital audio multiplexer and demultiplexer for serial digital video.

The product supports four channels of analog audio or two stereo AES/SPDIF channels per card. Multiple cards can be cascaded to support up to 16 audio channels per SDI stream. The system supports 143-, 177-, 270-, 360- and 540Mb/s serial digital video and 24-bit audio at 48khz.

The DTV-250 supports up to eight channels of either RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 or CMOS/TTL in the analog audio mode. The system plugs into the Multidyne UTIL-200-DVM utility tray.
