Sony Europe appoints new head of Media Sales

Sony Europe has named Naomi Climer as Head of Media Sales for Western Europe. Based in Basingstoke, Naomi will assume responsibility for the delivery of Sony professional products, solutions and services to the broadcast community in 15 regions.
Since joining Sony in 2002, Naomi has managed the Professional Services division across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will continue her role in this area alongside the Media Sales responsibilities.
Climer joined BBC engineering in 1987. Following this she managed a range of engineering and IT software development projects for independent radio stations, broadcasters and IT based companies. In 1996, Naomi returned to the BBC at World Service where she became the Controller of Technology for the BBC News. From there she moved to ITVdigital in 2000 as Director of Technical Operations, responsible for engineering and IT operations from multiplexing to billing, subscriptions management and office based IT systems.
