Telecast's Rattler mini HD/SDI transceiver system eliminates the need for bulky power cords.
Telecast Fiber Systems has introduced its new Rattler mini HD/SDI transceiver.
The transceiver accepts a coax input into the TX unit for uncompressed signal output on fiber, and turns it back into coaxial video with the RX unit.
Each 3in device, weighing approximately 1.8oz, derives power from a standard USB cable, and allows a four-port USB hub to power up to four Rattlers efficiently.
The system eliminates the need for bulky power cords. The mini USB interface also includes provisions for SNMP network monitoring access.
