Triveni Digital introduces secure data broadcasting solution for emergency services network

Feb 17, 2006 2:39 PM, Transition to Digital e-newsletter

Triveni Digital has introduced a new solution for the secure data broadcasting of emergency services network information. The SkyScraper Emergency Services Network (ESN) provides reliable, secure, timely and efficient distribution of disaster alerts, training materials and operational communications to emergency responders. SkyScraper ESN delivers information over any broadcast or multicast medium.

The SkyScraper ESN system allows each agency within a specified communications network to have a back-office site, where content is prepared and scheduled for insertion into the DTV broadcast stream. The solution delivers information to end user sites such as police stations, fire stations and hospitals.

Toolkits within the SkyScraper product family can create custom applications for information delivery and viewing. Communication networks can be designed for simultaneous use by multiple public safety agencies.

Information is broadcast to the targeted receiver sites in the form of files and stored on-site for display and access as needed. Skyscraper ESN also supports broadcast of live video and playout of stored videos from play-lists digital signage style. Users may access all this information via TV-style remote control or wireless keyboard and mouse.
