TANDBERG to showcase IPTV

TANDBERG Television will showcase its complete IPTV solution at NAB2006. Products to be shown include its Xport technology, which is designed for an IPTV network. Xport is a content creation and packaging tool for MPEG-4 AVC video-on-demand applications.

In addition, the company will be showcasing its OpenStream Digital Services Platform, a complete and open back office on-demand system.

Also to be shown is a new asset management system from the company, the MediaPoint AMS. MediaPoint AMS manages the flow of content for on-demand systems. The system automatically validates the metadata to industry standard specifications and dynamically puts rules in place to ensure content is consistently being delivered to the end user.
