APWMayville to show new Stantron rack accessories at NAB2007

Mar 5, 2007 8:00 AM

APWMayville will introduce new accessories for power, lighting and cooling equipment within an expanded suite of rack enclosures at NAB2007 (Booth #SU7220). The new accessories are customizable and compatible with any APWMayville Stantron rack. They have been designed to enhance functionality by eliminating the need to buy components from multiple vendors.

In addition to extending its PowerOptions range of thin power strips, the company will introduce its new PowerMount system for mounting vertical power strips within the rack.  The PowerMount system, featuring full length mounting brackets, accepts all styles and sizes of vertical PowerOptions power strips and is included with every vertical
PowerOptions purchase.

Other new products include the company's LightingOptions and CoolingOptions lines. The LightingOptions range works well in black or dark colored cabinets and racks containing black cables and power lines, which tend to absorb any lighting outside the cabinet.

The PowerMount system performs the basic function of holding power strips in place, while providing the flexibility of affixing power strips in virtually any location inside the rack. They offer a 180-degree swivel feature to rotate the power strip during maintenance or integration procedures such as cabling and access to power cords. The entire strip can face the front, middle or back of the cabinet.
