Every VIPIR HD system has the built-in capability to deliver an entire weather show, complete with storm tracking, current conditions and BAMS forecasting.
At NAB2007 at booth #C7017, Baron Services will show its new lineup of plug-and-play turn-key HD weather solutions.
Baron's HD weather displays can be configured to native 1920 x 1080 or native 1280 x 720 resolution, eliminating the need for upconversion. Additionally, each HD system uses a dual-head solution, separating weather visuals from the user interface and delivering full HD weather graphics and radar display.
At the show, Baron will demonstrate its VIPIR HD, a complete weather system integrating radar and forecast display, live weather graphics and sensor data into one presentation — in real time with no rendering. Every VIPIR HD system has the built-in capability to deliver an entire weather show, complete with storm tracking, current conditions and BAMS forecasting.
The system automatically tracks the most dangerous storms at neighborhood-level and navigates 2ft resolution imagery for an entire DMA and 15m resolution imagery for multiple states.
At NAB, Baron will also demonstrate its live radar and integrated Doppler systems, as well as its Mobile Threat Net system, which uses a satellite signal from XM WX Satellite Weather to provide news trucks, storm vans and helicopters with real-time radar and other weather information.
